A direct injection 3. 6-liter v6 engine is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission. The acadia is available in five trim levels: sl,sle, slt-1,slt-2 and denali. Each trim is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. An extensive list of standard safety features include: side curtain overhead airbags, seat-mounted side-impact airbags for driver and front-seat passenger, anti-lock brakes, electronic traction control and stability control. The acadia can be equipped with amenities such as automatic tri-zone climate control, bose audio system, rearview camera, bluetooth, remote start, leather seating, heated and cooled seats, universal home remote, and more. For 2012, the sl trim receives standard fog lamps and the slt, denali trims receive standard integral spotter mirrors that help to eliminate blind spots, in the exterior rearview mirrors.
